Mysteries of Ancient China

When I was traveling back in time to China, I realized that I have only gone to Ancient Chinese or Modern Chinese History but I haven't gone to the era where China was at its height of power during that time. So I have decided to pack up my necessities and used my time traveling device (aka my super advanced watch) to travel back into Ancient China in 750 CE (circa) As I was walking down the busy streets of Chang'an, there were a lot of vendors selling all sorts of different things, such as food, fabric and toys. I decided to go to a food vendor and get a hot steamy pork bun, I sat down at one of the chairs and took a bite out of the bun. I have now traveled back to 400 BCE in search of the bronze compass to add to my collection of antiques that I have got over the trips I have got. In order to take the compass, I decided to disguise myself as a government official. So the search for the compass has begun I paralyzed a government official and started to use my spy kit to make a mask that looks like his features. After I finished, I started going into the palace. When I went inside, I was amazed how luxurious the palace was on the inside while the cities looked bad and hardly maintained. I keep walking through the palace. Hopefully I can find the compass before the government officials are suspicious. I keep looking around and walked around the palace, the palace is a huge maze with countless artifacts. Next I traveled to Beijing 150 Years later during the Ming Dynasty, where they started building the Great Wall again. I have time traveled where the great wall was built and was disguised again as a government official. When I arrived at the site, I showed my sigil stating that I have permission to look at the site and have asked the leader of the construction of the site to give me a tour. He complied because I am a government official but in reality I am just a student. The leader showed me how they built the wall. They first used bricks and mud to build the walls, the leader told me, using the geography, they use more or less bricks depending on the elevation. I thanked him and used my teleporter hidden in my bag and moved to Shanghai Pass. To where the great wall was heavily fortified, I saw that the wall was very built and it was fairly new becasue it was reparied many times. Today I am traveling to the time when the Yuan Dynasty was at its height of power, art and culture flourished so again, I have packed up my bags for important stuff and I am now traveling to the year 1290, where Chinese Art has heavily influenced by the arrival of the Mongols. I arrived in Beijing in the year 1290, at that time it was called Khanbaliq. I have just slipped on my disguise as a rich merchant looking for good art and pottery and I have started with searching for different stores with unique pottery with lovely art. The first store has captivated me with wondrous pottery. I asked the store owner if I could look around the store and was hoping to buy one, the owner allowed me and personally gave me a tour since I was "rich". She told me that the pottery had been hand made and shaped into unique shapes, and then added blue patterns to make it look appealing.
